RC: QueryPerformanceCounter is not a source for unique identifiers
"But there are many problems with RDTSC. For example, variable-speed
processors mean that the rate at which CPU clock elapse varies over time.
A million clock ticks might take one millisecond when the computer is running
on wall power, but two milliseconds when running on battery power." |

msdn - Performance Counters
"Counters are used to provide information as to how well the operating
system or an application, service, or driver is performing. The counter

JoS: Mem/CPU usage software
"The "Performance Monitor" comes with Windows has a logging facility. You
can set it to log the data into a file. I use it to find out if my application leaks
memory in a very long time frame (several days). Quite useful." |

MF - Help with geometry calculation for CALayer
"So I'm trying to derive the value of point (p, q) and the rotation value r in
terms of the other variables, and I'm having a hard time figuring out how
to get there. It's been over 10 years since I took trig and I'm not sure how
best to go about tackling this one." |
