"I looked for folks I knew were involved in the Mac IM projects in the
past. Adam Iser (Creator of Adium)—nope, he is busy with another large
company. Justin Wood (Creator of Proteus)—negative, working for Apple
now. I finally decided to go ask Tim Hatcher (of Colloquy fame and now
Apple employee) and he had the answer for me. It was actually a
contributor to the Colloquy project: Tristan O'Tierney."

Goodbye Windows Dev - hello Apple!

"So, now I had a new Apple and I wanted to see if I could easily learn
to write software for OS X. I installed XCode from my OS X DVD and
couldn't figure out anything (except how to drag'n'drop buttons in the
Interface Builder). I decided that I would need some help so I bought a
book at random from Amazon. The book was called "Cocoa Programming
for Mac OS X" by Aaron Hillegass and it was perfect. I got started
immediately and in no time I had written my first app."

Interview With Brian Greenstone

and pretty much everything else for Pangea Software, Inc. Brian is Pangea
Software, Inc.. A developer since 1987, Brian has worked on various platforms
including the Apple II, Super Nintendo, PlayStation, and Macintosh."


And another interview with Brian, this time for MacGamer. Here they talk
about his really great Mac programming book, "Pangea Software's Ultimate
Game Programming Guide for Mac OS X"

how to write a game engine for OS X. That means that it covers OS X
things like the HID Manager, Carbon Events, Quicktime, OpenGL, OpenAL,

TUAW Exclusive: Video of Pixelmator in action

"This changed my traffic dramatically from around 1,000 downloads per day
to over 20,000 per day. You can’t buy advertising like that (seriously, it’s free
so there’s no cost)! Other downloads sites like MacUpdate and VersionTracker
haven’t even gone into the four-digits yet. As of end of day on September
11, I had over 120,000 downloads–mostly from apple.com/downloads."
