It would be quite useful having a list of interesting blogs about development
writen by developers for developers. Let's see.

1. Old New Thing by Raymond Chen
2. Joel On Software by Joel Spolsky
3. Essays by Paul Graham

Raymond is regular, very regular and always on topic, alwas interesting and
sometimes even fascinating. Yes, he's that good. Joel's blog evolved over
time into a comunity but his posts are still very good. Paul is just a pure
inspiration. If you think technology has nothing in common with art, just
read some Paul Graham.

Mac internals place: kernelthread by Amit Singh

Taka a look at Advanced Programming in the Mac OS X Environment,
most notably this section: What is Mac OS X? and Many Systems on One
Machine
:

"I run a large number of operating systems on my computers, as detailed
on separate page (including information on getting some of them installed).
Motivated by the questions and feedback I often get on this topic, I have
created a FAAQ (Frequently Asked and Anticipated Questions) that explains,
among other things, my rationale behind doing so."

Common Sense 4 Common People - How adding more RAM to your PC
can hurt Windows performance

"If the second option is what happens to you, then you are in for a nasty
surprise which is the article’s punchline: On x86 Windows with VisibleRAM
+ DeviceMemory > 4GB the DMA Limit is 64KB."

David LeBlanc's Web Log

"> This blog is about whatever security topics come to mind, and may
occasionally wander off into other areas, like arcane C++ tricks. I'll
primarily cover techniques to achieve more secure code, how to use
some of the more interesting facets of the Windows operating system,
and sometimes my thoughts about the general state of Internet security."

Philippe Mougin: Fun Script - Interactive Cocoa

"In addition to the resources reviewed in the Engineering Hints post I’d like
to point out that F-Script proves to be a useful tool for learning Cocoa, in
conjunction with the Xcode toolset.

F-Script provides an interactive environment where one can type snippets
of Cocoa code, have them executed immediately, and visualize results. All
without having to create a complete program and generating output. This
interpreted environment also includes a set of tools allowing inspecting and
manipulating live objects graphically. This lets you explore Cocoa and quickly
experiment with APIs or algorithms you are working on."

MF - A new blog to help out developers

"Hey guys, I started a new blog to help out iPhone developers with whatever
I feel like posting about on that day. I'm hoping it can help a few people out,
and I'm also looking for any ideas that some people might have for next
topics."

Dave Mark - The Moose Was Furious!

"Welcome to my blog. My name is Dave Mark. I helped write a book on iPhone
development named, appropriately enough, Beginning iPhone Development.
The book came out on November 14th and we are already doing our third print-
ing, which is pretty good for a tech book."

must say it's been quite an adventure. Now I know what everyone wants
to see, they want to know how many sales I had and my marketing tech-
niques."
