cboard: Send email
"Search for SMTP (RFC821 for example) Do far more with the responses than
simply dumping them in a file. Most mail relays require you to authenticate

The Codeproject - SMTP and POP3 Mail Server
"The MailServerComponent implements POP3 and SMTP (core) servers. It
Handles lowlevel POP3 and SMTP commands and raises events according to
it. The MailServer service just handles MailServerComponent events and
does mail retrieving and storing job." |

iphonedevsdk.com - How to send mail
"Another option besides the two FlyingDiver already mentioned would be to
have a script on a server somewhere for form processing that sends the email." |

robnapier.net - Scripting Bridge
"Say you want to talk to another app through Applescript. With 10.5, you can
much more easily get there from Cocoa without complex forays into CoreSer-
vices, Carbon and AppleEvents. The docs on how to do it are a little thin at
times (as all Applescript docs are), so let’s walk through it." |

MF - Send email using application
"3.0 allows for in-app email using the built-in Mail.app. Just read Apple's
documentation on how to use it (MessageUI). Pretty simple." |

wired - How Email Open Tracking Quietly Took Over the Web
"I wrote Cook a lengthy email detailing the reasons he should join me for an
interview. When I didn't hear back, I drafted a brief follow-up, enabled Streak,
hit send. Hours later, I got the notification: My email had been read. Yet one
glaring detail looked off. According to Streak, the email had been read on a
Windows Desktop computer." |
