"Guy Kawasaki, the famous 'Mac Evangelist' interviewed Steve Wozniak. It's
almost 1 hour long. Woz talks about his recently published autobiography,

Moscone South, I ran into Steve Wozniak. Yeah, you read that right... Woz,
on a Segway."

Slashdot: Apple Legend Woz Blasts iPhone Price Drop
"Apple cofounder Steve Wozniak Saturday blasted Steve Jobs' decision to
drop the price of the iPhone by $200 just two months after the product was
launched. Said Woz: 'Everyone expects technology to drop in price. The first
adopters always pay a premium. I am one of them. I am used to that. But
that one was too soon, too harsh ...
A lot of people from Apple, even a lot of people that worked on the Apple Lisa
and Macintosh computers in the beginning now work at Google. The thinking
over at Google is very much like early Apple days. The fact that they give
people time off to work on their own ideas is exactly matches some of the
things that made Apple great. I wish Apple did that.'" |

Slashdot: Woz Still Misses Homebrew Computer Club and Apple
"The Electronic Design site has nabbed a short interview with the Woz, where
he waxes poetically about his time growing up as an Engineer and founding
Apple. Even to this day, he says, he still misses the Homebrew Computer Club
and his days running around Apple leading the technical teams. 'I miss the
technical camaraderie ... The whole feeling of being on a revolution, on the
edge. I miss the intuitive philosophies.'" |
