Reading those books makes you realize how it all works, like: Oh boy.
Banks having a little trouble with reserves!
"Hmm...where have we seen that $500 million figure before? Oh yeah,
four banks borrowed $500 million each. The story we were told was that
they wanted to 'remove the stigma of borrowing at the discount window'
so others wouldn't feel so bad if they had to do it." |

Only the Paranoid Survive, by Andrew S. Grove
In his book Adrew Grove, Intel's ex-ceo explains the 10x factor and Strategic
Inflection Points as he calls periods when "something is different, yet when
you're so busy trying to survive that the significance of the change only
becomes clear in retrospect." When you think "the industry has gone nuts."
Steve Jobs from the backcover: "This book is about one super-important
concept. You must learn about Strategic Inflection Points, because sooner
or later you are going to live through one." |

make it - Billionaire Elon Musk credits his success to these 8 books
"Since his childhood, books have played a crucial role in fueling Musk's
ambitions. It's said that he read the entire Encyclopedia Britannica at age
nine and would pore through science fiction novels for more than 10 hours
a day." |
