apple - Complications
"Complications display timely and relevant information about your app on the
watch face. All watch faces have at least one complication; some have four or
more. The system organizes the complications into several different families.
The family defines the complication's general size and shape. Each watch face
specifies which family it supports in each complication slot." |

apple - Adding Complications to the Gallery
"In Watch Simulator, choose File > Save Complication Bundle. (Xcode
generates a complication bundle and gives it the name that you enter. For
example, MyBundleName.ckcomplication.)" |

Tip for complications not showing up on simulator or device
"If you're having problems with your complicaiton showing up, then check
what you have set for the Data Source Class in Extension General settings
within XCode. Don't be fooled by the dropdown and have the raw filename
for your complciation class, it needs have the precursor $(PRODUCT_MODULE_NAME). for it to work." |

Use Background URL Sessions
"Use background URL sessions to download updated data from a server. The
system triggers a background task after the download completes, and you can
use this task to set up your next download, keeping your app up to date. The
system automatically throttles the downloads as needed to preserve battery
life. To schedule a background URL session, start by creating a background
session configuration." |
